On the afternoon of December 12th, Wu Wenming, Deputy Secretary of the Pingyang Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in Vietnam, met with the Guangdong Provincial delegation and enterprises led by Lv Junlong, President of the Guangdong Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Long stated at the reception that China is currently the third largest export market and the largest import market for Vietnam's leather shoe industry. At present, Guangdong has become a center for the development and supply of raw materials for the footwear industry, attracting numerous Vietnamese enterprises to carry out trade activities.
Mr. Long stated that Pingyang Province has the most favorable conditions to invest in the construction of a shoe making raw material supply center, while developing trade activities while serving production, thereby improving product quality, ensuring raw material supply, and laying the foundation for future development. Technology transfer to achieve green and sustainable development.
During his speech at the reception, Mr. Ming stated that Pingyang Province is one of the largest industrial centers in the country, with many industrial parks and a synchronized modern infrastructure system.
In addition, the province is investing in the development of technology infrastructure and transportation with regional connectivity, forming a new generation of industrial belt along the 4th Ring Road of Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh Chuncheng Expressway, and Ho Chi Minh Highway sections, promoting circulation and trade connections through Pingfu Province Pingyang Xining Long'an.
At present, China ranks first among 65 countries and regions with foreign investment projects in Pingyang, with 1661 projects and a total investment of nearly 9.4 billion US dollars.
