Adidas CEO Gurdon said in a statement, "We see increasing interest in our brand and products in all markets. However, the current performance is still 'not good enough'. Adidas currently does not have enough supply to meet the demand for these shoes, and we will continue to increase production."
Due to the effectiveness of customer inventory reduction, the combined revenue of Baocheng, Fengtai, and Yuqi KY, the three major shoe manufacturers, showed a monthly increase trend in October.
Baocheng's combined revenue in October was 20.685 billion yuan, a monthly increase of 8.4% and an annual decrease of 12.5%. The revenue in the first 10 months was 20.6441 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 9.5%.
Yuqi's consolidated revenue in October was 1.171 billion yuan, a monthly increase of 37.49% and an annual decrease of 40.07%. The revenue in the first 10 months was 14.383 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 27.79%.
Nike's main OEM shoe factory, Fengtai, had a revenue of 7.84 billion yuan in the first 10 months, a monthly increase of 16.38% and an annual decrease of 5.97%. The revenue in the first 10 months was 71.07 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 12.67%.
